In a clear little pond, lived a group of happy tadpoles. They swam around in the water every day, carefree. But there was one tadpole, named Dot, who was different from the other tadpoles. He had a big dream: he wanted to become a beautiful frog, jump ashore, and see the world outside. The other tadpoles laughed at him, “Are you crazy? We tadpoles should stay in the water; it’s too hard to become a frog!” But Dot didn’t give up. He swam hard every day, practicing jumping, and even if he failed again and again, he wasn’t discouraged. Days passed by, and Dot’s body began to change. His tail grew shorter and shorter, and he grew strong legs. He practiced even harder, and finally, one day, he successfully jumped ashore! He became a little green frog, with big eyes and a strong body. He saw the world outside the pond, which was even more beautiful than he had imagined. He happily hopped around on the grass, fulfilling his dream.
